Since studying the law of attraction - in particular ‘The Science of Getting Rich’ I have noticed a real shift in my outlook on life. When we focus on what is good in our lives we naturally start to attract more luck and wellbeing. All thoughts have vibrations and we get what we focus on so it makes sense to attract the positive things!
A good way to start is to think about what you are grateful for. It is good practice to write this down each day - you will be surprised how many things in your life are good when you start thinking about them. If you are having a ‘down’ day, it can sometimes seem like there isn’t a lot to be grateful for but it’s on days like this that this exercise can be the most effective in shifting your focus and changing your view of your world.
Start your gratitude list with the bigger things that are the most important to you - your family, friends, home etc. then move onto the smaller things that often go unnoticed - the sun shining for a while, your garden looking colourful, having a relaxing morning, for the new things you have learnt that day - the list is endless! Make the exercise something special that you do for yourself each day. Buy a pretty notebook and start a gratitude journal!
It is even more important to consider the things that haven’t gone quite so well - it is important to have a sense of gratitude towards them also (mad as it sounds!). There is a reason why things don’t happen in our lives and although we don’t realise it at the time, something bigger and better normally takes the place of the thing we were disappointed in not getting.
